  • Andre Ramos BJJ

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ)

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a grappling martial art/combat sport which is based on ground fighting with submission holds. It focuses on taking your opponent to the floor and controlling them by gaining a dominant position and using several techniques to force them into submission with joint locks and chokeholds. BJJ revolves around the idea that someone with a physical disadvantage can defend themselves against a stronger/heavier opponent by using leverage and weight distribution.
  • Nomads Boxing


Boxing is a combat sport in which two people throw punches at each other for a predetermined amount of time in a boxing ring. The sport revolves around efficient movement whilst being able to throw, block and evade the opponent’s attacks.
  • Primal Combat MMA

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)

Mixed Martial Arts is a full-contact combat sport heavy on striking and grappling, using techniques from various combat sports like kickboxing, wrestling and BJJ. MMA is often fought in a cage incorporating different wrestling techniques to control the opponent using the fence.
  • Phoenix Kung Fu

Kung Fu

Kung Fu is a variety of Chinese martial arts developed over centuries in China. There are multiple styles for self-defence and contact sports some including emphasis on technique and others heavy on body strengthening and conditioning. Weapons styles are also included.
  • Primal Kickboxing


Kickboxing is a group of Stand-up styles based on punches, kicks and footwork. Originally developed from boxing and karate, this sport has influence from Muay Thai, Taekwondo, Savate and many more. Kickboxing can be practiced for self-defence, general fitness and as a contact sport.
  • No Gi Grappling

No-Gi Grappling

Also known as submission wrestling, No-Gi is a combat sport that focuses on clinch and ground fighting with the aim of submitting and controlling your opponent. Similar to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu although usually faster paced due to participants not wearing a Gi.
  • Nomads Muay Thai

Muay Thai

Often referred to as Thai boxing, Muay Thai is a martial art/combat sport that uses striking with the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, shins along with various clinching techniques. Almost all techniques in Muay Thai use the entire body movement, rotating the hip with each kick, punch, elbow, and block.
